PRIVACY STATEMENT
Under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act enacted in 2001, all firms providing individuals with financial services are required to disclose their policy regarding the collection and dissemination of client nonpublic information. NNK Consulting Group, LLC ("NNK") is committed to maintaining client confidentiality. We appreciate this opportunity to disclose our policy with respect to your nonpublic personal financial information as stated below.
Collection of Information We collect nonpublic personal information about you that is provided by you or obtained by us with your authorization to prepare your personal income tax returns and/or provide personal financial planning services. This information may be collected from you in written form, by telephone, on line, by mail and in personal interviews and consultations conducted by us. We also collect information relating to you from others with your authorization.
In addition, if you wish to attend a NNK sponsored event, we may ask you to provide certain information such as your name, email address and other contact information. We use this information to contact you regarding the seminar and may use it to contact you regarding promotions.
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients or website visitors. We may share information provided by our clients and website visitors, as permitted by law, the Code of Professional Conduct of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Ethics Rulings of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, with our affiliates and with service providers we may retain to perform services on our behalf. Any information provided to such third parties is pursuant to a contractual agreement which prohibits the third party or affiliate from disclosing or using the information other than for the purposes for which the information was disclosed. In addition, we may disclose information about you if we are required to do so by law or legal process.
Confidentiality We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees and other parties who must use that information to provide services to you. We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that protect your information.
